Westland – Master Suite

his retreat encompasses a natural color palette with rich details and soft luxuries.  With the eclectic combination of historic design reinvented for today and contemporary glamour, the master bedroom is  a tranquil space of greyed green, cream, and copper tones.

The barrel ceiling of the hallway leading to the master suite features a rusted powdered steel finish by faux artisan William Bell.  The finished result was a wonderful surprise and it is completely random but fit beautifully with our vision for the space.

The king-sized bed is dressed in a modern paisley of the finest Egyptian cotton woven by Italy's premier jacquard looms.  The entertainment center provides a more casual contrast to the mahogany bed.  Framing the large window are contemporary sheer-lined sheers that keep the room light and airy.

One of the most important architectural features of the master bedroom is the tray ceiling, faux finished by Annalee B Studios.  The inspiration was the quiet elegance of an aged mirror and matches the tone of the space completely.
